The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Panel provides an opportunity for ISEF attendees to hear from successful ISEF alumni about their careers creating startups and launching innovations. At the Society, our own emphasis on encouraging girls to explore STEM has brought us to a moment in time when half of the finalists participating in our STEM competitions are young women. This panel provides a platform to celebrate and encourage women to pursue STEM research and careers. The 202 panel, moderated by Mary Sue Coleman, President, Association of American Universities, included Frances Arnold, Nobel Prize in Chemistry, 2018; Dianne Newman, MacArthur Fellow, 2016; and Monika Schleier-Smith, MacArthur Fellow, 2020.
