At the Opening Ceremony, finalists from 80 or more countries, regions, and territories—from Argentina to Zimbabwe, Israel to Saudi Arabia, and Ghana to Ukraine—arrive with their flags and their posters decorated with their country pride. They are congratulated by the Society for this major achievement. As country names are called out at the Opening Ceremony, the finalist representatives from each country run up and celebrate onstage. This is a signature event of ISEF, presented by the Fair’s producer, Society for Science & the Public. THE OPENING CEREMONY

Usually about half of ISEF finalists are alumni of a prior year of ISEF, Regeneron Science Talent Search, or Broadcom MASTERS. This special lunch, usually attended by about 200 alumni, is an outstanding venue for you to meet and greet these distinguished alumni. SPONSOR THE ALUMNI LUNCH
