SPONSOR A SPECIAL OR EXPERIENTIAL AWARD

SPECIAL AWARDS

SPONSOR A SPECIAL AWARD Join the exclusive group of corporations, science associations, academic institutions, and other organizations that sponsor awards, internships, and scholarships. This provides a unique opportunity to have one-on-one interactions with the top young scientists and researchers in your field. Your employees and members serve as Special Awards judges in this rewarding process.

Approximately 50 associations, universities, government agencies, and other groups provide more than $4 million in awards and scholarships in their specific areas of interest at the Special Awards Ceremony. Special Awards Organizations provide their own judges and representatives to present their awards and scholarships at the Special Awards Ceremony, held on Thursday night. This ceremony is a highly produced, professional event with concert-level sound and stage presentation, and a professional photographer and videographer document the event. All of the winners’ names are prerecorded by a linguist in order to ensure that each student’s name is accurate and that the flow of show runs smoothly. The audience totals about 5,000 people, including student finalists, observers, teachers, mentors, fair directors, judges, sponsors, volunteers, and staff. BENEFITS INCLUDE • Announcement of the award to global media, including your company name. • Awards presentation at the Special Awards Ceremony during ISEF. • For sponsors who contribute $5,000 or more for the awards program, the opportunity to present a 30-second promotional video during the ceremony, subject to approval by the Society. • For sponsors who contribute $5,000 or more for the awards program, the opportunity to host an exhibit booth in the ISEF Commons at a 25% discount. • For sponsors who give $25,000 or more, a 50% discount on an advertisement in Science News , whose in-depth reporting on science topics now reaches 4,600+ high schools and 100,000 digital and print subscribers.
